| So. I bought a parts car....with a huge list of parts from stillin. I made my money back on the car plus some. Out of the deal I got a lot of good parts including an engine and sport 500 turbos with 12K on them. Last year I installed a "built" bottom end engine with sport 500's ran it, worked good, until the end of the year when I started smoking. Pulled engine saw some oil on the turbos. Replaced the CHRA's and upgraded to MS manifolds got it back together and same result. pulled the engine again figured a leaky valve, noticed nothing. pulled the heads and brought the bottom and top end to "The Engine Shop" and found out the bottom end was shot to shit, (stock rods and pistons) brought the bottom end of my 165K OEM engine in and it's perfect. Got it re ringed new valve job and here is where I'm at. Familiar position

Got some parts, $90 worth of washers for the reassembly
even switched to a taurus fan with a metal lower shroud which I tested for 80 miles before I tore it back apart
 and the coveted DCC controller for the fan
 After the failure I considered starting from scratch with a Porsche 996 turbo..but after owning this car for the last 12 years I can't see myself driving anything else. That's all, for now...
